One thing I’ve learned as a wedding photographer is that no matter what the weather brings, your day will still be beautiful—and yes, that includes a little rain. So, what can we do if it rains? Well, we can't control the weather—it is what it is. But rain doesn't have to dampen your day or your photos!
Since my approach is all about capturing natural moments as they unfold, I’ll be there to document the spontaneous fun that often comes with a rainy day. Picture your guests laughing as they huddle under umbrellas, or those sweet moments of you and your partner braving the weather together. These are the kinds of genuine moments that tell the real, heartfelt story of your wedding day.
The rain doesn’t have to put an end to outdoor photos, either. We can sneak outside for a few quick, romantic shots when the rain lets up. Covered areas also provide a fantastic opportunity for beautiful, cosy portraits. Either way, you’ll have a collection of images that are uniquely yours—rain or shine.
So, if the forecast looks a little wet, don’t stress! Embrace it, and send your guests away with memories of an amazing day, not of the couple who spent the day moaning about the weather ;) Your wedding will still be filled with joy, laughter, and unforgettable moments, and I’ll be there to capture it all—rain or no rain.
